I worked for 4 years with Wendy in the NHS, during this time she was a consistent and supportive mentor who facilitated my growth and development, and on many occasions used her enabling manner to help me to realise opportunities and solve complex challenges. Recently I was asked to set up a fledging service, spanning a number of organisations – I knew then I needed to take a new and innovative approach and one of my first moves was to engage Wendy to help me work through the different aspects. I knew that Wendy would understand that ask and be able to contextualise into the current constraints of the NHS and through her experience, which she did.
